Another chain reaction begins…

Be sure to visit wendyslookbook.com and thank her for featuring The Emergency Fund’s Symbol of Hope on her fashion blog last week.  Wendy’s blog has a tremendous following, and I am so thankful for her willingness to share about The Emergency Fund and the Symbol of Hope.

Here’s just a snippet from her blog:

A few weeks ago, Weiling from The Emergency Fund contacted me. The Emergency Fund is an organization that works with community partners to provide assistance to the homeless population in the Chicago area. Weiling’s email touched a deep place in my heart. In college, I worked as a volunteer counselor for over 2 years at the Berkeley Free Clinic providing mental health services to the homeless community. After learning more about the organization, sharing personal stories, and reading the agency’s spending report, I couldn’t help but want to promote this wonderful organization. The Emergency Fund collaborated with Erica’s Jewelry to design ‘Symbol of Hope‘, a charming necklace with 100% of its proceeds going directly to the Emergency Fund and its partner agencies. This necklace can be worn as a traditional one piece necklace or a layering piece to stacked necklaces or a bracelet.

I also want to thank Weiling, The Emergency Fund’s summer intern, for her efforts to promote the Symbol of Hope – efforts which led directly to Wendy’s blog.
